Job Description

Participate in all aspects of structural project design detail engineering and provide technical support during construction and commissioning.

Experience in the design of industrial facilities with knowledge of applicable industry standards and codes (ASCE, AISC and ACI).

Able to be client facing and communicated with key staff involved

Designing building industrial platforms but not limited to, mechanical equipment support, electrical conduits, race cable, etc.

Working on brownfield projects; going into existing facilities and designing new platforms

Experience in petrochemical, pipeline and/or mining industries would be a plus

Pay Rate: $45-$50/hr

Skills and Requirements

5+ years' experience in structural design.

Experience in heavy industry required, including concrete foundations and flatwork

Proficient in AutoCAD

Experience in the design of industrial facilities

Knowledge of applicable industry standards and codes (ASCE, AISC and ACI). * Revit or other 3D software is a plus.

• Experience in structural design software; RAM Steel, RISA, STAAD, and FEA tools a plus

Experience in petrochemical, pipeline and/or mining industries null
