Bear Mountain Healthcare is seeking an experienced nursing scheduler to join our team for a full time opportunity in West Springfield, MA.

Our West Springfield facility offers short-term rehab, long-term care, memory care and respite care needs of patients and their families. Staffed with experienced professionals committed to excellence, this 148-bed facility provides a welcoming environment for Bear Mountain's patient-centered approach to care, promoting healing, recovery and comfort.

As a nurse scheduler, you will support the facility by maintaining the schedule for all nurses and CNA staff, and completing attendance reconciliation and reporting. In this role, you will work closely with our schedulers at BMSS, Bear Mountain's internal staffing agency to ensure all staffing needs are met.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years scheduling experience, works well in a fast-paced environment, is organized, and must be a team player!

Essential Duties:

• Prepare staffing schedule and updates as necessary.

• Determine a 2 week rotation that an employee with be working within the master schedule.

• Enter daily missed punches to update PPD report by 10:00 am.

• Print daily staffing sheets from SmartLinx

• Meets with DNS to discuss, go over schedule daily.

• Tracks attendance

• Enters sick, vacation and personal time if available

  POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  · High School Diploma

  · Previous scheduling experience is a MUST within LTC

  · Experience with scheduling and/or time clock software preferred

  · Microsoft Office Skills – Excel, Word, Outlook

  · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  · Solid verbal and written communication abilities; effective interpersonal skills
