This is an immediate opening for this fiscal year 2024-2025 school year. Full benefit options are available. Job Description: Assist Instructor in all instruction and training necessary to provide the necessary learning experiences to qualify students for placement in entry-level positions. Manage student behaviors, both individually and in groups. Work collegially with other LPVEC staff members. Establish and maintain partnerships with parents, industry, and the community and encourage participation in program. To interact with related business, industry, and public agency personnel along with the ability to interact with students, parents, teachers and local school administrators and staff. Provide transportation (using school van) and supervision to students during off-site clinical experiences. Assure compliance with regulations of all state and local governing contracting agencies. Instruction and training of high school students in the Health Assisting program necessary to guarantee the quantity and quality of learning experiences to qualify these students for entry level positions in local business and/or continued education. Requirements: Valid Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse license Minimum 5 years in the Health Assisting field Minimum 3 years of vocational-technical teaching experience preferred.
