Location: Erie 1 BOCES Communications Services E1B Education Campus West Seneca, NY

Hourly Rate: $17.00

Hours: 9:00AM – 1:00PM or 12:30PM – 4:00PM

This position is ideal for a college student seeking a flexible summer job. We will train the successful candidate on equipment. This position is also makes the employee eligible to join the New York State and Local Retirement System.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operates various pieces of production equipment including the paper cutter, hole puncher, padder, bindery, stitcher, trimmer, stapler, collator and folder.

• Handles stock, receives, and stores it in appropriate areas.

• Keeps equipment and work areas clean and orderly.

• Fills and packages orders for delivery.

• Maintains assigned inventory.

• Bends, lifts, moves boxes, paper, and packaged product. Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods, depending on assignment.

• Performs other related tasks as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Must have some mechanical aptitude

• Attention to detail

• Must be able to be on feet and move boxes 50lbs or less
