Encorus Group Engineering Human Resources Coordinator in West Seneca, New York
Encorus Group is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator!We are a local Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned company with over 25 years in business, specializing in engineering, design and testing. Having reached the 100-employee milestone last year, we continue to expand and grow.We are seeking a motivated self-starter with a passion for people, learning, and continuous improvement. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an entry-level candidate to gain hands-on experience in a variety of HR functions and grow alongside our company.In this role, you will handle daily HR administration and coordination while also serving as the in-house recruiter, working closely with the Human Resources Business Partner and supervisors. This position is based in our West Seneca office and will support all locations, including regular travel to our Springville and Depew offices.Responsibilities:Conduct full-cycle recruitment including creating and posting job ads, sourcing candidates, conducting phone screens, coordinating interviews, making offers and onboarding.Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Input new hire data and update employee records in benefits and HR systems.Maintain HR files, track training completion, and oversee pre-employment and random drug testing.Track compliance requirements such as employment posters, training, and mandatory reporting (EEO-1, VETS 4212, NYS EEO).Process leaves of absence requests (Disability, FMLA, PFL) and related documentation.Administer HR programs and paperwork such as tuition reimbursement, education assistance, job shadowing.Conduct employment verifications and manage administrative tasks related to HR programs.Provide administrative support for payroll, benefits, and general HR inquiries.Assist with payroll-related functions, including time review, processing, and reporting.Assist in updating job descriptions and supporting HR initiatives as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a closely related fieldHuman Resources work experience, such as internships is required; recruiting experience is a plus.Passion for people, learning and continuous improvement.Ability to work effectively with a diverse population and individuals at levels of the organization.Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HR and benefits administration software systems.Strong computer and technology skills and interest in utilizing and championing the use of technology within the HR function.Highly detail-oriented with a strong attention to accuracy and a commitment to completing every task with precision.Organized, adaptable, flexible work style.Professional verbal and written communication skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skillsAbility to comply with company drug screening, including pre-employment testsA valid driver's license, along with the ability to travel locallyPay Range: The pay rate for this position is $23 - $28/ hr. Actual compensation will be based on the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
