Job Title: Genomics Lab Scientist

Job Description

A Genomics Laboratory Scientist is needed to perform the following tasks:

• Extract RNA from preclinical study samples using both manual and automated protocols.

• Leverage automated robotics for next-generation sequencing library preparation.

• Sequence resultant libraries on in-house Illumina instruments.

• Collaborate with laboratory scientists to perform non-routine assays and capability builds.

• Maintain all records and documentation as required per departmental SOPs.

• Understand and follow all safety guidelines.

• Assist in the routine maintenance of the general laboratory.

Hard Skills

• Strong prior molecular biology laboratory experience including manipulation of RNA/DNA

• Ability to advance multiple laboratory protocols/projects in parallel

Soft Skills

• Strong collaboration skills

• Team-oriented work ethic

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lansdale, Pennsylvania.
