Job Title: Engineer III - Network Performance
Location(s): Rochester, NY

Must have skills (Most Important):
Customers expect our networks to perform at a high level all the time. That's where you come in. You will investigate, evaluate and resolve network and data performance issues to ensure optimal and reliable service for our customers. The work you'll be doing will directly impact customer satisfaction and help keep us ahead of the competition.
- Evaluating service performance trends and isolating root causes of impacted services.
- Performing LTE and VoLTE testing with analyses of relevant key performance indicators.
- Optimizing LTE and RAN networks using traditional and innovative means.
- Perform Cluster level RF optimization
- Review/ Analyze drive test data with SP/ RF engineers to improve network performance
- Run Atoll analysis to improved CINR/ PCI Pollution - Investigating and resolving customer complaints regarding service.
- Optimizing embedded network for integration of new cell sites, small cells, and In-building systems..

You'll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree and four or more years of work experience.
- Knowledge of LTE including VoLTE and RAN networks.
- Knowledge of at least one data collection tool such as Datapro.
- Knowledge of data analysis/post-processing tools such as Irisview, Actix, DMAT. Knowledge of propagation and optimization modeling tools such as Geoplan, Atoll.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Unix, scripting tools.
- Knowledge of analytical software such as MapInfo, Tableau
- Knowledge of Samsung systems including OAM and 3GPP LTE standards.
Education/certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. Two or more years of relevant work experience.
- Valid driver's license.
Hybrid model:
- Two office days (Tuesday & Wednesday), Three remote days ( Monday, Thursday and Friday).
Logistics: Shift: 8 - 5.
