YOUR ROLE
Ensures the Production & Processing equipment can deliver at expected operational efficiency and quality levels through the optimization of planned and unplanned Maintenance systems.
Provides supervision to budget, plan, and oversee Maintenance events, troubleshoot equipment issues, operate and maintain a controlled Maintenance Shop, and serve as a resource for Mechanical/Electrical Resource personnel at the West Hazleton Facility.
Ensures that planned maintenance activities in production/Processing areas are effectively executed in a cost-efficient manner.
Oversees the Mechanical/Electrical Resources and work closely with Operations Management to maximize the application of maintenance resources in the improvement of OEE throughout the facility.
Supports a safe workplace environment by identifying and helping resolve unsafe practices.
Responsible for the maintenance and optimization of all Production & Processing related equipment throughout the facility.
Achieves planned OEE objectives through maintenance support and involvement.
Partners with Operations Management in correcting chronic problems involving production and processing issues to include troubleshooting and problem solving of all mechanical and electrical issues.
Ensures that maintenance activities are executed in a manner which results in improved OEE, safety, quality and continuous improvement of the facility.
Handles the day-to-day relationships with the Mechanical/Electrical Resources including work assignments, training, and providing input on day-to-day operations.
Leads and develops Preventive Maintenance plans.
Controls the ongoing repair and maintenance of equipment in line with budget.
Oversees the assignment and completion of planned work to include the preparation of Production/Processing related work orders, ensures the close coordination between the MRO/Stockroom personnel for the ordering of parts, and plans the execution of Mechanical/Electrical Resource assignments.
Ensures that all daily maintenance activity is supported and documented by work orders.
Develops, maintains, and administers safety programs; ensures Compliance with all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
Maintains the condition, cleanliness, and orderliness of Maintenance related shops, spaces, and equipment.
Supports Henkel Production System (HPS) initiatives.
YOUR SKILLS
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Maintaining and Operating manufacturing equipment and other production facility related equipment with a strong electrical background.
Must have a strong working knowledge of Allen Bradley software i.e. RS Logix 5000, PLC 5, SLC 500 Factory Talk View Software, Siemens Safety PLC’s, Sick Safety PLC’s, Various instrumentation control devices and Software.
Demonstrated experience in implementing preventive/predictive maintenance systems.
Must have experience with a CMMS system.
Must have excellent organizational skills to ensure ability to organize robust planning and scheduling methods.
Must have strong leadership skills to ensure effectiveness of Mechanical/Electrical Resources in key maintenance related issues.
Preferred experience in a team-oriented culture in union environment.
Must have evidence of demonstrated skills in effective empowerment of employees.
Must have strong communication skills.
The salary for this role is $90,000 - $115,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
