Please note: Candidates without prior experience in MDS (minimum data set) will not be considered for this position.

What to expect as a RN MDS Coordinator at Saint Mary Home Under the direction of the Clinical Resources Manager or Designee, the MDS Nurse will conduct and coordinate the development and completion of the resident assessment in accordance with the requirements of this state and the policies and goals of the facility.

Required knowledge, skills & abilities:

  1. Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state

  2. Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines governing long term care

  3. Must possess and maintain current CPR Certification.

  4. Must be AANAC Certified or obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
