Summary:The Suffolk County Water Authority is seeking a Utility Person for our Construction Maintenance Department, West Hampton. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.Position Type:Full TimeDivision:Construction MaintenanceDescription:Duties include, but are not limited to, digging and backfilling holes and trenches; use of jackhammers for breaking and tamping various surfaces; physical operation of waterworks appurtenances such as gate valves and fire hydrants; descending and ascending ladder stairs in holes and vaults; lifting and carrying 60- pound bags of cold patch and 110-pound jackhammers.
