    Job Description

    The Hospice Aide is a valuable member of the interdisciplinary team working under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various services for a patient to meet the patient's personal needs and to promote comfort. You have responsibility for observing the patient, reporting and documenting these observations and care performed. You will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity, and safety of a patient's care.

  • You will perform personal care including bathing, nail and skin care, brushing teeth and other personal hygiene. Aid in dressing and undressing patients as assigned.

  • You will take and record vital signs.

  • You will plan and prepare nutritious meals, including shopping and assist in feeding the patient if needed.

  • Traveling throughout the day and potentially after hours.

Qualifications

Required

  • CNA licensure for state(s) of practice

  • Clean driving record, and valid driver’s license and auto insurance
