Griswold Home Care, Inc Referral Coordinator in West Columbia, South Carolina

Description The referral coordinator plays a key role in the daily operations of our office. Be ready for a fast-paced environment with heavy phone interaction, a lot of multi-tasking, and to love the relationships you'll be building with our clients and caregivers. Previous experience in home care is preferred.  Essential Functions * Assist clientele with caregiver referrals based on their requested services needs * Develop strong relationships with caregivers and clients to ensure outstanding client satisfaction. * Participate in the caregiver recruitment and screening process. * Conduct telephone intakes with new and/or potential clients. * Perform initial home visit with potential clients to explain referral services, and obtain signed intake document as needed. * Participate in internal audits of files to meet all company, state, and federal quality and compliance standards. * Complete marketing home visits with new/existing clients as needed. * Required to be on-call on a rotating basis. * Perform other duties as assigned. Desired Characteristics * Nurturing ability (caring, empathetic, compassionate) * Human services background or strong desire to help others * Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills * Ability to multi-task, coordinate, and plan for daily, weekly, and on-going referrals * -Strong organizational skills and detail oriented; good documentation skills * Intermediate level of computer skills to include knowledge of Microsoft Office * Reliable transportation is needed  * Successful completion of a criminal background check and driving record is required.
