Job Title: Industrial Painter

Job Description

Candidates will be working in the painting department of a manufacturing plant. They will be using polyurethane and polyethylene paints and employing a two-coat poly painting system utilizing spray guns.

Responsibilities

  • Apply polyurethane and polyethylene paints using spray guns.

  • Utilize a two-coat poly painting system to ensure high-quality finishes.

  • Prepare surfaces for painting, ensuring proper adhesion and finish.

  • Maintain and clean painting equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with industrial painting techniques.

  • Proficiency in using spray guns and other painting equipment.

  • Knowledge of polyurethane and polyethylene paints.

  • At least 3 years of experience in industrial painting.

  • Strong team mindset and ability to work well with others.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • No certifications required.

  • Ability to perform paint preparation tasks efficiently.

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing facility that is not climate-controlled. Required PPE includes steel-toed boots, long pants, a face covering (provided by the client), a hard hat, safety glasses, earplugs, and a respirator (fit test provided by the client).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Columbia, South Carolina.
