Description

Robert Half is seeking a Treasury Accountant for a client in the western suburbs. The Treasury Accountant will be pivotal in managing Treasury operations, including cash management, foreign currency transactions, account reconciliations, and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the company's daily banking operations.

• Keep track of cash positions in various currencies and report on these positions as necessary.

• Analyze, reconcile, and record activity for assigned general ledger accounts.

• Serve as the main point of contact for bank and cash-related inquiries.

• Assist with managing foreign currency, including spot trades and forward contracts.

• Maintain records for intercompany debt across our global operations.

• Generate comprehensive reports and analyses to support the annual budgeting process.

• Supply documents as required for the annual external audit.

• Support accounting and schedules related to fixed assets.

• Aid in the enhancement of global treasury and cash management processes.

• Undertake other projects, analyses, and duties as assigned.

Requirements

Successful Treasury Accountant will have

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role

• Proficient in banking operations

• Experienced in managing cash activities

• Understanding of corporate treasury functions

• Knowledge of global treasury operations

• Proficient in treasury operations

• Ability to manage fixed assets

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with SAP software
