Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 4 PM

Summary:

  • To provide supply chain management and assistance to surgical services at CCH. Hands on supervision of all aspects of inventory control, and vendor management. Scope of work includes PeriOp at CCH, Cath Lab, EP, IR, and Endoscopy.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the supervision all PeriOp Materials staff to include to but limited to staffing levels, staff performance and adherence to Hospital and Departmental Policies.

  • Meets with key Nursing, Administrative and Support Departments to advance internal specialty equipment program (introduces new technology, processes and procedures) and monitors effectiveness of interventions.

  • Inventory management. Runs and analyzes date using Lawson/Pennfor. Communicates with outside vendors to ensure that adequate par levels are on hand at all times.

  • Monitors, manages and addresses all backorder/rejections/allocation issues for Peri-op Teams.

  • Month End Financial Reporting.

  • Maintaining proper inventory levels using data to manage correct Min/Max stock levels. Work with staff to ensure proper movement of supplies.

  • Spearhead and monitors Expiration dates of supplies.

  • Responsible for monthly cycle counts of products.

  • Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization.

Credentials:

  • Driver's License (Required)

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)

  • Education Specialization:Equivalent Experience:•And 2+ years Healthcare Inventory Management experience in a Surgical/Peri-operative setting.

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science
