Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the West Chester, OH area. The role is for a Payroll Clerk who will be in charge of maintaining our payroll and timekeeping systems, validating employee information, and providing weekly payroll reports.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage payroll and timekeeping systems

• Ensure employee information is accurate and up-to-date

• Regularly provide comprehensive weekly payroll reports to the management

• Use a HR Payroll system and other payroll systems to effectively carry out tasks

• Maintain and update personnel files as needed

• Perform additional tasks such as filing, scanning, copying, and organizing as required

• Collaborate with the payroll vendor to ensure smooth payroll operations

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Payroll Clerk

• Proficiency in a payroll and timekeeping system

• Experience in managing weekly payroll and coordinating with payroll vendors

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion

• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal rules and laws regarding payroll and payroll taxes

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
