Job Summary:

The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for assisting the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes within the organization. This role provides strategic financial insights and analyses to support decision-making, optimize financial performance, and drive business growth. This position will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to develop financial models, analyze business trends, and ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Budgeting:

2. Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, working with departments to align on financial targets and performance metrics.

3. Develop, update, and maintain detailed financial models to support the budgeting and forecasting processes.

4. Financial Analysis and Reporting:

5. Analyze financial results, comparing actuals to budget/forecasts, and identify key drivers of variances.

6. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management, highlighting insights and trends.

7. Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making, including scenario analysis, cost-benefit analysis.

8. Strategic Financial Support:

9. Partner with business units to assess financial implications of strategic initiatives and recommend actions to optimize profitability.

10. Operational and Performance Metrics:

11. Develop and monitor KPIs to assess financial performance and operational efficiency.

12. Create dashboards and other reporting tools to track and communicate key metrics across the organization.

13. Process Improvement and Technology Optimization:

14. Continuously seek ways to improve FP&A processes, systems, and reporting to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.

15. Drive the implementation of FP&A tools and software to automate reporting and forecasting processes.

16. Team Leadership and Development:

17. Manage, mentor, and develop a team of FP&A analysts, providing guidance, feedback, and growth opportunities.

18. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, or a related finance role; prior experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity is preferred.

• Skills:

• Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced knowledge of Excel, financial software, and ERP systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.

• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
