Crane 1 Services, Inc. Accounts Receivable Manager in West Chester, Ohio
The Accounts Receivable (A/R) Manager has the most immediate positive impact on our company’s cash availability. If you have a knack for numbers, are very outcome-oriented, and have strong prioritization skills, then we want you to join our team! The A/R Manager oversees the Accounts Receivable Process, including the application of daily cash collections and managing the distribution process of new contract approvals via the operations leadership team for new/existing customers.
Accounts Receivable Manager Responsibilities
Supervise and develop members of the A/R team
Work with branches on related activities
Process accounts receivable transactions.
Reviewing and recording daily cash receipts and applying them against open invoices.
Working with outside collection agency and legal process.
A/R dispute resolution experience = working with vendor portals.
Perform account reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner.
Continuously work unapplied cash
Implement Lien and Dunning process.
Assist in the monthly closing.
Review aged items for bad debt write-off and refund analysis.
Continuous evaluation of current policies and recommendations for process improvements.
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Provide support for internal and external audits.
Possible Billing functions.
Other duties assigned.
Accounts Receivable Manager Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE: Minimum of (5) years of experience with collections, invoicing, and/or accounts receivable.
BACHELOR’S degree in Finance or Accounting or a related field or a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
TECHNOLOGY: SAGE300 (preferred) or ERP systems.
SKILLS:
8+ years of experience with collections, invoicing, and/or accounts receivable.
Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
Ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions and implement appropriate solutions.
Excellent negotiating and persuasive skills, both in one-on-one and group situations.
Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to work with internal/external customers/vendors.
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy.
ABILITY: A passion for providing top-notch customer service to our customers. Valid driver’s license and ability to meet our driving requirements.
