Job Information
Henry Ford Health System Registered Nurse - Med - Surg Neuro - 36 Hours - Midnights in West Bloomfield, Michigan
Garden GPU is a 32 bed Neuro unit. We see a vast array of patients, but the majority of our population consists of spine surgeries, stroke, and seizure patients. Our nurses undergo a critical care course and receive ACLS training, typically within the first six months of employment. This critical care course equips nurses to effectively care for stroke patients admitted to the step-down unit. Additionally, it prepares them to manage patients with telemetry monitoring, which is available in all our beds. We also provide pediatric epilepsy monitoring one week each month, giving nurses the chance to work with children.
