This person may perform all aspects of the Powder / Wet Paint Line, as well as give instruction to the Technicians assigned to the lines. This role is responsible for acting as a good role model for the rest of the development and for keeping the department organized and clean. Responsibilities * Paint Technician Lead will assist the Supervisor in directing and assisting in the work activities of Paint Line Technicians. * Work with the Paint Technicians to ensure the parts are racked correctly and schedule is being followed and on-time. * Will coordinate orders with material handling and work with Production Control to assure orders are ready for assembly. * Provide input on schedule to ensure maximum efficiency and on time delivery is met. * Keep informed of any changes and new procedures throughout the day to stay on schedule. * Communicate information, assisting in resolving problems and support continuous improvement initiatives. * Monitor all equipment, pre-treatment, conveyors, wastewater treatment, cure ovens and assist powder room coordinator with trouble shooting application equipment. * Monitor all supplies within the department.
