About Smart Infrastructure – Electrification and Automation:

The Electrification and Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing into our Future Grids portfolio and applications to create the power distribution grid of the future. Our comprehensive portfolio meets the growing technical requirements of todays and tomorrow’s power grid!

You will make an impact by:

  • Defining go to market strategy for products defined in the segment.

  • Identifying portfolio gaps and developing own R&D or M&A strategies to properly address and profitably grow the business.

  • Establishing and maintaining key relationships with strategic customers in the Industry & Infrastructure market space.

  • Defining and supporting key product management activities.

  • Driving P&L activities to support business targets across all aspects of pricing, engineering, project mgt, and operations.

  • Developing and maintain key sales planning activities with SI, EA, or third-party sales channels to reach top line goals at desired SGA levels.

  • Maintaining alignment with key stakeholders in matrix organization to reach long term EA business goals.

  • Supporting overall EA vision and critical metrics through collaboration with other segments.

  • Maintaining level of quality and customer satisfaction expected which aligns with EA goals.

  • Promoting high level of employee engagement and satisfaction through culture and key improvement actions.

  • Expanding the talent pipeline through proper focus on DEI activities and workforce development programs.

  • Coordinating with EA training and onboarding team to define and maintain internal and external programs to support EA business goals.

  • Championing overall EA initiatives in the Industry and Infrastructure market space beyond the segment products through executive relationships at key target accounts.

Your success is grounded in having these qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or computer science.

  • 5 plus years’ experience in leading large sales or operations teams direct or indirect

  • Minimum of Fifteen (15) years in Operations or Sales/PLM Mgt in Power Distribution.

  • Flexibility to work on international projects and travel worldwide as the need arises (20% travel).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree preferred.

  • Ability to work in matrix global organization.

  • Demonstrated track record of results.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with all levels of the organization.

  • Proven track record to work cross functionally with multiple departments, such as Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Purchasing.

  • Solid multi-tasking, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and various cloud-based tools and software

The pay range for this position is $240,000 - $315,000 with an annual target incentive of 35%. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
