McMillen Jacobs Associates Project Engineer - Civil in Wedgwood, Washington

The ideal candidate is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) with 4-8 years of Civil Engineering experience. We are seeking candidates with experience in any water resources related work, such as design and preparation of plans and specifications for dams, hydropower, pump facilities, fish hatcheries, fish passage, water/wastewater treatment, water/wastewater gravity and pressurized pipeline systems, water/wastewater yard piping, site grading, roadway design, drainage, or water supply. Responsibilities: Perform civil engineering design with a focus on civil work structures Perform site investigations and/or inspections and provide detailed assessment reports of conditions Develop project plans, specifications, and construction documents Perform and/or supervise cost estimating on schematic, preliminary, and final design phases Coordinate upland and bathymetric surveying and geotechnical investigations Support and provide guidance to CAD technicians as part of design drawing development Develop design calculations, technical reports, design drawings, and technical specifications Project coordination with clients, subconsultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies Provide construction engineering support and management Interpret field survey data Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a civil engineering field (Master's preferred) 4-8 years of relevant experience in civil engineering Knowledge of codes and standards related to civil design; Strong communication, technical and analytical skills; Experience with hydraulic calculations and/or modeling Experience with the development of project plans, specifications, and construction documents Proficiency in BlueBeam or other pdf editor Professional Engineering License, NCEES registration preferred Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with fellow employees, clients, and business associates Able to travel 15% Compensation Package: Pay Range: $88,951 - $126,224 annual (DOE) Benefits: McMillen provides a full Benefits Program consisting of Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, FSA, EAP, 401(k) and match, 9 Paid Holidays, generous PTO, opportunity for Stock Ownership and Wellness Reimbursement.
