As part of a passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will support production of the Engines as a Process Engineer at our Washington manufacturing site. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of production and manufacturing, so relevant experience in those areas is highly desired. We are seeking a proactive, service-oriented individual with excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and analytics skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be primarily responsible for managing the projects focused on process improvements in production for both internal and external customers. This includes developing, managing, and reporting on resource-loaded schedules, production budgets, staffing needs, program risk, and variances to the plan. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Special Mentions: Relocation Provided Responsibilities include but not limited to: Perform schedule baseline change control, collect, and track performance, conduct critical path and variance analysis. Manage hardware status, supporting both internal and external demand. Engineerwilldevelop and execute aggressive timeline schedulesfor process developmentand refinement. Candidate must be self-motivated and work well unsupervised, as well as be able to work in team environments. Provide quality assurance domain expertise to inspection, manufacturing, and test for the Manufacturing team. Collaborate with internal and external customers on quality related concerns; develop and present training materials to build quality awareness. Manage budgets and implementation of capital equipment and facility projects! Lead planning and execution-centered process improvements to reduce cost, shorten cycle time, improve quality, and enhance safety through risk management. Collaborate with purchasing and supplier management to ensure on-time delivery of hardware and production equipment. Reduce and close risks and identify opportunities. Track key program metrics (and associated reporting tools) in areas such as: budget, engineering schedules, equipment schedules, procurement schedules, production schedules, program management status reports, and resource plans. Lead key business analytics initiatives, as required. Minimum Qualifications: B.S. in engineering with 5+ years of relevant Quality or Engineering experience. 5+ years' experience leading projects. Strong verbal and technical writing skills are a must. Written communication skills required forwritingwork instructionsfor the operatorsas well as preparation of qualification reports and other documentation. Quality experience in production environment. Aerospace, space launch, or military or commercial aviation preferred. Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Management System and/or related quality systems and programs. 5 or more years' experience in Manufacturing in a Production Environment. Ability to develop and execute a moderately complicated project plan in all phases. Established negotiating skills and ability to garner acceptance in a project matrix hierarchy.
