Position Overview:

Cleans and maintains buildings, facilities, and equipment. Uses cleaning tools and other products to create a clean, healthy environment. Removes and disposes trash, recycling, and other waste following the appropriate policies. May have basic maintenance skills and make minor repairs in the facility.

Functions:

Clean and maintain buildings, facilities, and equipment to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

Use cleaning tools and products to sanitize surfaces and areas effectively.

Remove and dispose of trash, recycling, and other waste following established policies.

Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs to management.

Perform basic maintenance tasks and make minor repairs within the facility as needed.

Follow all safety and cleanliness protocols to meet organizational standards.

Collaborate with staff to address immediate cleaning or maintenance concerns.

Other job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

Basic carpentry skills to perform minor repairs and upkeep of facility structures.

Knowledge of facility maintenance and coordination, including routine inspections and reporting of maintenance needs.

General maintenance skills to troubleshoot and address small repairs within the facility.

Expertise in cleaning and sanitation practices to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

Familiarity with cleaning tools, equipment, and products to perform duties effectively.
