Environmental Field Specialist

Our client, a global partner to suppliers and customers for the distribution of chemicals, is looking to add an Environmental Field Specialist to their growing team! Pay rate: $28/hour.

Schedule: 1 st shift

Type: 6 Month Contract to Hire

Environmental Field Specialist Responsibilities:

• Assists sales personnel with the handling of customer profile requests; answers technicalquestions and makes recommendations for handling customer problems.

• Classify waste according to RCRA, EPA, and DOT regulations.

• Research chemicals and regulatory literature where applicable.

• Data entry into multiple platforms.

Environmental Field Specialist Qualifications:

• Science based degree preferred (Chemistry, Environmental Science, etc.)

• High School Diploma required.

• CHMM/CHMP Certification

• DOT/RCRA Training
