We are looking for a highly motivated and transformational focused leader to join our team in Webster.

The AVP, IT Data Solutions is responsible for strategic leadership and accountability for the successful operation of IT Data Solutions discipline, driving strategy, overseeing the projects, business objectives, and performance of the functions, its leaders and teamswith a focus on driving innovation and planning future states. Lead the development and maintenance of local technology solutions and ensure a committed portfolio of technology solutions projects are delivered within agreed constraints. Work multi-functionally with other business units and leaders to deliver on large initiatives that drive MAPFRE’s Data driven strategy, processes and controls. Manage day-to-day systems, activities, and teams.

The qualified individual with have:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field. MBA preferred.

Experience: 10 - 15 years in relevant field. 5+ years in leadership.

· Deep knowledge of the business and ability to build relationships within business units in support of the collaborative organization model which creatively solves business problems.

· Ability to negotiate large contracts.

· Deep technology knowledge and willing and able to seek out continuous learning opportunities to stay current in the industry and in technical skills.

· Ability to align value-added resources to every project through various partnerships.

· Experienced as a leader who learns, remains adaptable and flexible in response to and in support of changing business needs, applying analytical and strategic tactics that result in efficiency, effectiveness and success.

· The ability to influence and get consensus from multi-functional leaders. Demonstrated capabilities managing sophisticated projects and initiatives across an organization.

· Experience creating a larger IT & Data strategic vision and plan that supports company strategy and growth.

· Skills as a results oriented, collaborative leader who can build trust with teams and stakeholders. Demonstrate empathy to understand stakeholder needs and business requirements to find effective solutions.

· Deep knowledge and understanding of IT controls and frameworks, standards, project development and management methods, compliance and onboarding/offboarding procedures.

· Demonstrates a passion for the business of IT and insurance and understands the power of technology to transform business.

· Demonstrated experience in IT Data Solutions & advanced analytics in aligning IT goals with the needs of the business.

· Built, communicated and utilized organizational change procedures to mature and rollout new IT processes and systems within an organization.

· Tracked operational metrics and measured success against those metrics.

· Experience managing hybrid working environments across multiple offices and facilities and building and managing internal and external teams.

· Ability to produce and deliver executive level content to leadership
