Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Director of Accounting in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. This role involves a high level of interaction with various internal and external clients, managing financial and accounting operations within our organization. As a Director of Accounting, you will be tasked with overseeing construction and development project finance, asset management, property management, and various accounting duties.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Proactively interact with construction and development project personnel to ensure accurate financial reporting and budgeting.

• Establish and maintain effective communication with the finance and investment group for smooth operations.

• Work closely with the property management team, ensuring accurate financial records and reporting.

• Handle external client communication with banking representatives, legal, and accounting and tax firm representatives.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, Concur, and CRM to streamline accounting processes.

• Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of auditing and budget processes.

• Drive the resolution of accounting-related issues and inquiries from third-party owners and other stakeholders.

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and auditing.

• Use your knowledge of Accounting Functions to streamline and improve our company's financial procedures. Requirements • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is required

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is expected

• Experience with BlackLine is a must

• Knowledge of Concur is preferred

• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is necessary

• Broad understanding and experience with Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial

• Expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is advantageous

• Proven experience in Auditing is required

• Familiarity with Budget Processes is essential
