JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Details Job Location Wisconsin Centrifugal - Waukesha, WI Salary Range \$21.22 - \$31.85 Hourly Description Assist with the instruction and direction of work for 5 to 10 process area employees. Participate in department work groups and assist and instruct/train new employees. Provide assistance in completing Tube Process/LPI I work as needed. Work from routings, process sheets, computerized information system and blueprints, to set up, adjust and operate hydraulic straightener and cutoff saws to straighten and cut cast metal tubes to specifications. Perform pneumatic (air) testing/inspection to ensure tubes are free from leaks. Perform Level I Liquid Penetrant Inspection including application of visible and/or fluorescent inspection to identify defects. Prepare necessary documentation of inspection process. Maintain up-to-date inventory of work-in-progress as-cast tubes. Prepare status reports and notify appropriate parties of discrepancies. Maintain an accurate tube inventory process (physical and electronic). Collaborate with casting operation to ensure part marking is correct, and electronic tracking system(s) are accurate. Monitor, coordinate, and execute the flow of tubes (physical and electronic) from foundry through release of short term testing (air/FPI testing, chemistry, etch rings, other requirements as defined based on order-by-order basis), conferring with supervisors on progress. Collaborate with lab and metallurgy as it pertains to dispositioning NCRs needed to release product through short term testing (ref #5). Schedule activities required to ensure product flows without disruption related to (short term testing) release of tubes. Monitor, coordinate, and execute salvage/re-test activities as needed and update NCR product action(s) associated with dispositioning short term testing. Report any production obstructions to Supervisor and assist in resolution to ensure smooth production operations. Prepare reports on job status, facility overloads, etc. Perform material handling as needed to facilitate movement of materials. Perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed. Initiate change requests for process changes and adjustments to standards. Qualifications Able to follow written and verbal instruction with minimal supervision. Math and language skills as normally attained through 4 years H.S. or equivalent including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions and decimals. Excellent attention to detail. Willingness to study materials on your own time in preparation for certification tests. Basic blueprint knowledge. Experience with basic measuring instruments. Cutoff saw experience preferred. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. repetitively and pushing and pulling heavy loads. Must have or be able to obtain forklift certification.
