Job Description Summary

The Supply Chain Finance Transformation Manager is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and making recommendations to Finance leaders & Operating teams regarding Logistics & Install. Acting as the primary owner for set up of Annual Install and Logistics MOH Standards as well as S2S for all Regions. This Finance Leader will also lead a finance transformation program for Imaging Supply Chain implementing best in class process and technologies to improve data visibility, drive efficiencies and achieve a world class finance function standards.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive Supply Chain Finance transformation through data visibility and world class tool development

  • Lead all financial activities related to Imaging Logistics

  • Develop rigor and controls around inbound logistics spend, specifically minimizing expedites and air shipments where possible

  • Provide controllership support for Install and Logistics related topics

  • Own closing of books accurately for Install and Imaging manufacturing inbound freight

  • Lead installation analysis and annual standard setting process across Imaging, AVS, and PCS segment teams with linkages to Global & Regional teams

  • Support analysis related to annual Logistics MOH S2S process, coordinating with Region contacts & SBU's

  • Support analysis related to annual Install S2S process, coordinating with Region contacts & SBU's

  • Work with the Global SBU & Region teams to understand Logistics and Install cost drivers to help identify productivity opportunities

  • Support Imaging, AVS, and PCS monthly Op Mechs with required Install reporting and analysis

  • Key contact for internal & external auditor teams as it relates to Install & Logistics processes

  • Key point of contact for Install interfacing with Imaging, AVS, PCS, Region, Service and Group FP&A teams

  • Finance owner for development and maintenance of Installation Data Mart to establish "one source of truth" for standards & VCP

  • Use LEAN Methodologies to drive reduction/elimination of manual processes relating to Install & Logistics

  • Translate project results to the ledger. Consistent VCP walks and margin analytics that are ledger based

  • Help promote and drive best practice sharing and consistency across Imaging, AVS, and PCS

  • Support internal & external audit activities including process maps, SOP’s and providing supporting documentation during reviews

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration and 6+ years financial work experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across all levels, functions, and regions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner; demonstrated experience in developing and delivering presentations and memoranda to senior executives

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and clearly communicate (written, verbal) in a global team environment Strong critical thinking skills and ability to add financial expertise and strategic value to operating teams

  • Experience with financial systems/applications, strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation

Desired Characteristics

  • Graduate of GE's Financial Management Program (FMP) or Operational Finance Leadership Program (OFLP); or graduate of other financial leadership programs

  • Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma

  • Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change

  • Clear thinking/problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions involving process improvements

  • Adaptable/flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work and collaborate in global, ambiguous situations

  • Integrity: accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others

  • Confidence/assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions

  • Experience working in a matrixed environment

  • Strong knowledge of GE Healthcare financial, supply chain and commercial operating systems

  • Experience/demonstrated expertise in Manufacturing and Supply Chain finance/Accounting
