Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Define, develop, and evolve software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure. Work with Product Line. Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements and vision. Translate vision requirements into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required time lines and quality standards. Work with product line leaders and architects to develop multi generation software technology plans while driving increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse. Support process improvements which guide development, sustaining and support activities. Work cross functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables. Drive world-class quality in the development and support of products. Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge. Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies such as Lean, Agile, XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques. Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project. Understand performance parameters and assess application performance while working on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, Mathematics or related field. Five (5) years of progressive experience in Software Applications Development. Work experience to include: Five (5) years of experience working with Java or JEE; Two (2) years of experience working with Spring boot or Spring; Three (3) years of experience with Unix or Linux based programming; Three (3) years of experience working with (a) BDD or Cucumber, (b) Perforce or GIT, (c) Artifactory, (d) Gradle or Maven and (e) Docker; Three (3) years of experience in configuration management tools; and Three (3) years of experience in software development lifecycle. Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
