Generac Power Systems Senior Brand Marketing Manager - Residential in Waukesha, Wisconsin

The Senior Brand Marketing Manager at Generac will be a key player on the Residential Marketing Team, focusing on enhancing the Generac brand's reputation among homeowners to drive demand for residential products. This role involves executing strategic marketing plans aimed at increasing brand awareness and engagement, particularly for Generac Residential Products. Additionally, the Senior Brand Marketing Manager will be responsible for implementing Generac's paid media strategy for Home Standby Power in collaboration with the Marketing Director.

Major Responsibilities:

Establish & Execute Brand Marketing Strategies:

  • Analyze consumer research, market trends and business performance to develop and optimize brand marketing plans.

  • Define and execute targeted marketing plans that drive brand awareness & engagement.

  • Identify, develop and execute demand-driving strategic partnerships

  • Test, Learn & Scale new approaches to marketing our brand to homeowner

Optimize Paid Media Strategies:

  • Leverage data & insights to optimize media strategies.

  • Partner with internal teams such as Analytics & Insights, Digital Engagement and external media agencies to ensure consistent execution and measurement of results.

Develop & Optimize Brand Content:

  • Collaborate with creative, website and digital marketing teams to develop and deploy engaging brand content.

  • Evaluate and optimize brand marketing content, including advertising, digital assets, and sales enablement materials.

Team Leadership:

  • Designs and directs the work of the team. Selects, coaches, and develops staff.

  • Sets clear expectations to inspire and motivate the team.

  • Manages performance by recognizing achievement, providing feedback, and administering progressive discipline when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field

  • 5-10 years' work experience with proven capabilities in brand marketing, including experience with paid media

  • 2 years of management level experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters in Business Administration

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • In-depth understanding of marketing principles, industry trends, and best practices

  • Results-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
