Job Description Summary

The primary responsibility of the Senior Administrator is to provide smooth and efficient administrative and operational support to the GE HealthCare Magnetic Resonance (MR) Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Product General Managers and their respective teams. Responsibilities will be broad and changeable in nature, ranging from leading special projects, arranging conferences and travel, preparing presentations to supporting customer visits. This position is a full-time, on-site position in Waukesha, WI MR Headquarters.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support CTO and Product General Managers in all administrative tasks

  • Work collaboratively across MR and GE HealthCare leadership and administrative staff, helping one another.

  • Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with unyielding integrity.

  • Support on-site hiring by ensuring leaders availability for interviewing, greeting candidates upon arrival, helping ensure a positive onboarding experience and distributing organizational announcements.

  • Be an essential member of the MR leadership team, learn about our amazing technology, and make a difference in the lives of our team members on a daily basis.

  • Be an active member of the leadership team by providing insights and generating ideas.

  • Utilize and train others on the use of contemporary collaboration tools for effective meetings, events and communications, and other computer-based systems, such as those on the company intranet.

  • Provide calendar, meeting, and conference management, including supporting on-site customer visits.

  • Produce correspondence, presentations, meeting agendas, emails and external communications.

  • General office duties and coordination of team events

  • Maintain office facilities and space planning for multiple teams and assist with new hire on-boarding.

  • Update team organizational charts & calendars

  • Co-ordinate domestic and international travels and submit expense reports in a timely manner as needed.

  • Other administrative support, including supplies, conference room and organizational distribution lists management, and special projects.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Associate’s degree and three years of administrative experience working in a corporate environment at a senior level OR a high school diploma and five years of administrative experience working in a corporate environment at a senior level.

  • Advanced level Microsoft applications skills, as well as use of the internet and web applications (i.e. ability to draft correspondence and create PowerPoint presentations for leadership team and basic level of Excel application to create charts, diagrams and tables of data).

  • Demonstrated ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and simple message, verbally and in writing (in English).

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability and confidence to effectively interface with senior management and high-profile customers.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree OR seven years of administrative experience working in a corporate environment at a senior level.

  • Demonstrated ability to stay extremely well organized, with attention to detail, yet able to multi-task in an environment of changing priorities.

  • Team player, capable of working with globally diverse teams on-site and across different time zones with a “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn and help others.

  • Intellectually sharp, able to grasp concepts and think/learn quickly.

  • Professionalism, good judgment, creative problem-solver.

  • Interest and ability to continuously learn through experiences, constructive feedback and experimentation.

  • Ability to maintain calm demeanor under pressure, maintain effectiveness and resiliency.

  • Strong independent problem-solving skills with the ability to be resourceful and propose solutions.
