Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the healthcare industry, specifically in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The position is for a Patient Services Representative who will be the first line of contact for patients and will be based in an office environment.
Responsibilities:
• Being the primary point of contact for patients, handling inbound calls, and responding to emails.
• Registering patients by collecting and updating demographic and insurance information.
• Coordinating with a team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality service.
• Scheduling, rescheduling, or cancelling appointments as needed.
• Utilizing CRM and EHR systems to maintain accurate patient records.
• Handling payments and updating account information.
• Assisting patients with referrals, directions, and other inquiries.
• Communicating with various stakeholders including providers, insurance companies, and pharmacies.
• Ensuring visit closure by checking out patients and scheduling follow-up appointments.
• Managing patient information, completing required forms and documentation.
• Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and other medical software for various tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and patience in addressing customer inquiries.
• Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and ensuring patient satisfaction.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, with the ability to manage and update customer data effectively.
• Experience in scheduling appointments, coordinating with medical staff, and ensuring seamless patient experience.
• Knowledge of patient services and an understanding of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication with patients.
• Proficiency in Office Suites, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook, to manage patient records and correspondence.
• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Familiarity with EHR (Electronic Health Records) system, with the ability to update and maintain patient health records accurately.
• Experience with medical software to manage patient records, schedule appointments, and process medical billing.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, medical staff, and other stakeholders. TalentMatch®
