Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Biller to join a local team in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This role will focus on the manual posting of insurance and self-pay accounts using Epic, with a primary emphasis on insurance-related transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anticodes, denials, zero-pay issues, POB (Patient-Other Balance) lines, and experience with EOBs (Explanation of Benefits).

Shift: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Manually post insurance and self-pay accounts in Epic, with an emphasis on insurance transactions, including payments, adjustments, and insurance-related details for both claims and self-pay accounts.

• Review and post EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) while addressing anticodes and denials.

• Resolve zero pays and POB (Patient-Other Balance) lines.

• Complete transfers in Epic as required.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate and efficient posting of transactions.

  Requirements

Experience and Skills Required:

• Hands-on experience with the Epic system, specifically in manual posting of insurance and self-pay accounts.

• Familiarity with EOBs, anticodes, and denials is highly desirable.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Excel knowledge is a plus.
