Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. The role involves mechanical assembly of tank equipment, wiring, and conduit. The individual will be responsible for repairs on units, parts, and materials, reading and understanding schedules and workflow requirements, retrieving materials from storage for assembly, inspecting assemblies for conformance to design criteria, keeping tools organized, maintaining an orderly work area, and writing maintenance work orders.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical assembly of transformers, various wiring, and conduit

  • Conduct repairs on units, parts, and materials

  • Read and comprehend schedule and workflow requirements

  • Retrieve materials from storage for assembly

  • Inspect assemblies to ensure they conform to design criteria

  • Keep tools organized and maintain a clean and orderly work area

  • Write and submit maintenance work orders

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience with basic hand and power tools.

  • 2+ years of blueprint reading experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with cranes is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

2nd shift (3pm-11pm)

3rd shift (11pm-7am)

Training will be conducted on 1st shift (7am-3pm) for 2-6 months.

The dress code includes steel-toed shoes, jeans, and safety glasses.
