Eaton Corporation Material Handler - 2nd Shift (Supply Chain) in Waukesha, Wisconsin

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Material Handler - 2nd Shift (Supply Chain) to join our team on Badger Dr. in Waukesha, WI!

The hourly rate for this position is $20.80 per hour + $2.50/hr shift premium.

The core hours are 3 pm - 11 pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $2,000*, paid in two installments, less applicable withholding .

*Bonus terms:

  • Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only. Applications must be submitted on or after January 1 st , 2025 to qualify.

  • Bonuses are only applicable to specific job types and shifts; additional terms and conditions may apply.

What you’ll do:

Shipping and receiving Material Handlers are responsible for the smooth, efficient flow of all raw material and fabricated material into, throughout, and out of Badger Drive. They use forklifts (stand up and sit down), walk along, and a 5-ton crane as needed to complete daily job duties.

In this function, you will:

  • Deliver finished fabricated parts from fabrication area or the e-coat lines to the shipping dock and fills out necessary paperwork

  • Load and unload trucks for inbound and outbound material.

  • Complete shipment paperwork and SAP transactions for inbound and outbound material

  • Move pallets of in-process work to where they are accessible to other customers

  • Keep department provided with pallets and disposed of unusable pallets

  • Put parts away in storage racks or floor locations

  • Dispose of scrap materials to designated scrap locations within the plant

  • Locate material with proper identification attached and turn receiving paperwork into office

  • Receive, locate, and ship parts daily to assure proper customer service commitments are maintained

  • Completed Other duties may be assigned as needed by a Team Lead or Supervisor.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience operating a forklift or other material handling equipment in a manufacturing environment.

  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution

  • Experience in the safe operation of various types of material-handling equipment

Skills:

  • Ability to work overtime when required.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations
