Actalent Hardware Engineer in Waukesha, Wisconsin

Description:

You will be designing hardware for a "core engineering" team that supplies designs to internal partners for everything from batteries, to battery cells, to packs, to chargers and to battery management systems. The other teams at this company integrate the designs you create.

At other companies you might only be working in one of these areas but here you will get exposure to developing core electronics for all of these.

You will do everything within mixed-signal design; analog, digital, power conversion and power supply design. You will also work with power electronics that charge and discharge batteries but your focus will not be on power electronics.

You will be designing circuits that push the envelope of integration.

You will have to demonstrate an understanding of designing hardware with reliability in mind.

You will be joining an existing team that has experts in relevant domains. If you have experience in mixed signal design and designing hardware for reliability, the team can help coach you up in the other areas.

mixed signal design, Hardware design, Electrical engineering, design for reliablity, DFR, HALT & HASS Testing

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

BSEE with 5+ years professional hardware design experience

2+ years recent mixed-signal design experience

Ability to articulate designing hardware with reliability in mind and designing hardware that pushed envelope of integration
