Eaton Corporation Commercial Finance Leader in Waukesha, Wisconsin

Eaton’s Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a Commercial Finance Leader. This position will be located at our Waukesha, WI Division Headquarters location. Relocation assistance will be provided within the US/PR.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

The Commercial Finance Leader is a highly visible and strategic role responsible for providing financial leadership and driving growth across the business.

Reporting to the Finance Director of the Power Reliability Division, this person will be responsible for designing and implementing commercial finance and analytics best practices. This is a transformational role that will work with commercial and operational leaders across multiple product lines to provide proactive, insightful analytics enabling the business to achieve its strategic growth goals.

  • Partner with the PRD leadership team and functional directors to drive change and deliver results to meet strategic objectives and annual business goals.

  • Coordinate business level planning and reporting activities including monthly results, rolling forecasts, profit and strategic planning, and operating review requirements.

  • Provide financial analysis, insight, interpretation, and communication to senior management of the plants/product lines recommending & driving actions for improvement.

  • Provide leadership to management in driving profitability optimization.

  • Be responsible for pricing controlling, quotations for new launches and product profitability reporting, including aftermarket business.

  • Be a business partner for Sales & Marketing activities & Operations in Broomfield, CO, South Milwaukee, WI and Greenwood, SC.

  • Establish & maintain adequate commercial reporting by Customer and by Product.

  • Provide insightful analysis to the Product Line team in the deployment & assessment of Pricing actions.

  • Establish & maintain specific reporting to trace the Mix impact on Sales & Profit.

  • Support to business development projects, due diligence and additional ad hoc projects as assigned.

  • Maintain high level of ethical standards and identify and analyze problem areas and recommend appropriate course of action.

  • Travel approximately 25% to plant locations and customers

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, and/or Finance from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of 5 years progressive experience within a finance or accounting function

  • Company sponsorship is not offered. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution or CPA

  • Previous experience in business level planning and reporting activities including monthly results, rolling forecast, profit planning, strategic planning, and operating review requirements for a top tier organization, P&L or relevant business unit

  • Experience in providing analysis, recommendations, and communication to senior leadership

  • Comprehensive knowledge GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley, and Managerial Accounting
