Holiday and on call rotation What You Will Do: Our Chaplains rovides the development and delivery of Pastoral Care to patinets, their families, and personnel of ProHealth Care System.We work in collaboration with PHC Pastoral Care Supervisor in addressing identified Religious/Spiritual needs. Core Responsibilities include: *Evaluates, documents, maintains and provides clinical excellence in Pastoral Care. *Provides Pastoral and spiritual care to patients, families, and PHC Health Care System personnel, as needed. *Serves as spirituality resource person throughout PHC health system as needed. *Demonstrates the ability to integrate the insights of theology and the behavioral sciences into pastoral care assessments and practice. *Demonstrates ability to conceptualize and communicate theologically the meaning of the crises experienced by persons in the setting in which one ministers. *Nurtures spiritual resources through participation in personal Faith Tradition, spiritual formation disciplines and participation in continuing education opportunities. *Obtains necessary medical, nursing and other staff input to assist in determining and meeting patient/family needs. *Communicates both verbally and in writing to other patient care team members to exchange information regarding spiritual issues which may affect patient\'s response to treatment. *Facilitates religious or spiritual rituals and practices as desired by patient and family, maintaining sensitivity toward cultural/spiritual/religious diversity. *Attends required pastoral care team meetings for operational and administrative functions related to pastoral care program as requested. *Functions as spiritual expert on team, is a resource and support to team...
