Experis ManpowerGroup has partnered with a leading Medical Device & Healthcare c lient in the Waukegan, IL area for a Sr. SAP Technical Specialist role to assist their team. This is an on-site role.

Job Details:

Job Title: Sr. SAP Technical Specialist

Location: Waukegan, IL

Contract Duration: 12+ Months

Possible hybrid for the right candidate

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Oversees multinational IT operations, coordinating offshore and onsite teams for seamless service delivery.

  • Manages service partners and ensures adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Strong experience in SAP ERP environment, in the areas of SAP-SCM, (Production Planning, Production Execution and Quality Management), SAP-PTP (Direct & Indirect Procurement and Accounts Payables), SAP-APO, and SAP-Ariba. Experience in SAP SRM is a plus.

  • Facilitates collaboration among stakeholders with diverse objectives.

  • Holds responsibility for effective systems operations and conducts regular service reviews.

  • Communicates complex ideas clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders.

  • Possesses a degree in IT or a related field and 10-13 years of IT experience, preferably in healthcare.

  • Demonstrates prior management experience and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.

  • Maintains compliance with industry regulations, legislation, and company policies.

  • Works with global teams to ensure continuity and disaster recovery requirements.

  • Reports business continuity testing results to stakeholders.

  • Manages IT process compliance with corporate, divisional, and local policies.

  • Enforces audit compliance policies and standards.

  • Collaborates with business users to understand concerns and define requirements.

  • Acts as a point of contact for audits or CAPAs.

  • Develops and evaluates work plans to meet time, cost, and quality targets.

  • Stays updated with industry advancements and directions in supported domains.

  • Cultivates a harmonized and motivated team environment.

  • Provides oversight and escalates issues if service providers are unable to meet demand.

  • Evaluates risks and takes appropriate actions to mitigate them.

  • Communicates effectively, both formally and informally, demonstrating leadership.

  • Understands the relevance of IT operations to the organization's goals.

  • Engages in communication and negotiation with suppliers to obtain required solutions.

  • Ensures effective operations and productivity
