We are offering a contract for a permanent position as a Desktop Support specialist based in either Chicago, IL or Franklin, KY. This position will require consistent travel between Chicago and Franklin. In this role, you will be a crucial part of our client's team, providing technical support and ensuring smooth operations for end-users within our industry. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse IT teams to address complex issues, contribute to system maintenance, and develop long-term solutions for recurring problems.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues to ensure seamless operations for end-users

• Provide competent support for Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365 environments

• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to address advanced challenges

• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the company's IT systems

• Implement long-term solutions to recurring technical issues

• Ensure the productivity and efficiency of the team by directly contributing to new operations across different states

• Utilize skills with Android Development, Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Computer Hardware, Dell Technologies, Active Directory, Apple Devices, Backup Technologies, Configuration Management, ARISTA, Aruba to ensure successful job performance

• Use your customer-focused mindset, strong communication skills, and problem-solving ability to effectively serve the needs of end-users and the company at large.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Desktop Support role or similar

• Proficiency in Android Development

• Familiarity with Cisco Technologies

• Experience with Citrix Technologies

• Demonstrated knowledge of Computer Hardware

• Proficient in utilizing Dell Technologies

• Proficiency in Active Directory

• Experience in handling Apple Devices

• Familiarity with Backup Technologies

• Knowledge of Configuration Management

• Experience with ARISTA
