Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an IT Support Technician in the manufacturing industry, located in Watsonville, California. This role involves providing Tier 1 technical support for end-users in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users, troubleshooting various software and hardware issues.

• Manage and resolve email-related issues, particularly with Outlook and Office 365.

• Deploy and navigate the ServiceNow ticketing system for efficient incident management.

• Promptly address and resolve password-related concerns to ensure uninterrupted user access.

• Perform WiFi troubleshooting to maintain seamless connectivity across the workplace.

• Engage in hardware and software troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.

• Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting Dell computers and Windows operating systems.

• Assist users with queries and technical challenges related to MS Teams.

• Utilize skills in 'MS Great Plains Dynamics', 'MS Windows 7', and 'Active Directory' for effective IT support. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry

• Proficiency with Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 7

• Knowledge of Active Directory

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
