What you will be doing: *Perform daily payroll department operations such as but not limited to new hire paperwork, employee reimbursements, court ordered support notices, etc. *Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely. *Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits. *Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports. *Supports yearly audits and coordinate month-end processing of reports, accruals, and reconciliations. *Generate bi-weekly and monthly reporting for Human Resources and Operations. *Respond to employee inquiries about health, retirement, and life benefit programs. *Review and validate payroll transactions, including wage adjustments and benefit deductions. *Process benefit enrollments *Maintain accurate personnel files and handle employee change requests. *Process monthly billings and invoices for group benefit plans. *Support the processing of STD and LTD claims. *Assist in the annual open enrollment process. *Assist in processing employee 401(K) changes. *Other duties as assigned. What we are looking for: *Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or related field preferred. *Ideally 2 years of experience processing payroll, benefits, or administrative experience. *Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material. *High attention to detail and accuracy. *Proven ability to meet daily and weekly deadlines. *Customer Service minded professional with a desire to build relationships both internally and externally. *Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel.
