Job Title: Designer and Drafter

Job Description

The role involves interfacing with the entire team to coordinate design, provide detailing, and execute our prefabricated light gauge structural systems. The client developed a particular expertise in using prefabricated light gauge structural systems. They have constructed millions of square feet of buildings using this technology. This is what you would be working on.

  • General knowledge of building construction and its associated building assemblies.

  • Understanding of the project life cycle in construction.

  • Interpret project drawings.

  • AutoCAD experience.

  • Generating shop drawings for in-house and subcontracted fabrications.

  • Assisting with coordination of design during preconstruction and construction phases of the project.

  • Assisting Project Managers with preconstruction, procurement, construction, and close-out tasks during a project.
