Description We are offering an opportunity for a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Watertown, New York. In this role, you will be primarily involved in managing the customer credit process, ensuring accurate records, and addressing customer inquiries in a timely manner. You will also be tasked with overseeing customer accounts and initiating appropriate action when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle the processing of customer invoices

• Ensure the accurate encoding of invoices

• Manage account reconciliations

• Conduct regular check runs

• Maintain a high level of data entry accuracy

• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting activities

• Use Microsoft Excel and Oracle for data management and analysis

• Stay open to learning and adapting to new accounting processes and software

• Oversee and maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records. Requirements

Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable, preparing bills, invoices and bank deposits
