Calling all machine operators! Are you looking for your next long term opportunity? Do you enjoy work that requires attention to detail? If so, Randstad may have an opportunity for you. We are seeking a 1st shift machine operator in the Watertown area for an immediate opening. This is a temp to hire position offering full time, steady hours plus weekly overtime. work hours: 6 AM - 3 PM

Responsibilities

Machine Operator

Feeding coils of raw material into machine

Inspecting parts for defects using basic measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)

Loading coils onto carts

Following work orders & updating job travelers as needed

Attention to detail

Requirements:

2+ years of experience as a machine operator (or similar)

Experience with using basic measuring tools

Must be able to stand for up to 10 hrs and lift up to 50lbs

7am-3pm M-F

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 10 hours at one time

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week

• Press Operation

• machine operator (2 years of experience is required)

• Blueprints

• micrometers (1 year of experience is required)

• calipers

• Inspection

• Quality Control

• Blueprint Reading
