Job Description

The  Trek University Website Content Admin  is a member of the Learning Services team that works closely with Trek's retail and marketing departments to deliver a full curriculum of online training to our global network of bicycle retailers. A successful candidate will support Trek's mission of building only products we love, providing incredible hospitality, and changing the world by getting more people on bikes. This position requires an optimistic, figure-it-out attitude and a drive to complete various complex tasks. You will join a team dedicated to providing exceptional service that works together to get the job done.

What is Trek University? 

Trek University is Trek Bicycle Company's global training platform that hosts instructional courses , a community forum, and news for bicycle retailer and Trek employees worldwide.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Content Administration

  • Load and remove content across all global Trek U platforms

  • Coordinate with global and local teams to ensure Trek University content is accurate , timely , and locally relevant to all markets

    Trek University Online Administration

  • Administrate the back end of Trek U’s global training websites: manage global site organization, content/imagery, and layout

  • Maintain global retailer and user database

  • Identify  opportunities to improve Trek U's user experience and program effectiveness

    Reporting

  • Create and deliver various reports using the Trek U website, email marketing platforms, and more.

    Provide Incredible Hospitality

  • Provide exceptional service and care for all internal and external Tr ek U customers , making them wildly successful

  • Support the larger Training Team by proofing content, assisting during remote and in-person training, and other tasks as assigned

    What you need to be successful in this position:

  • Aptitude to balance multiple projects and timelines/deadlines

  • Humility to admit what you don’t know and resourcefulness to figure it out and ask for help

  • Ability to work with multiple teams, departments, and cultures

  • Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and respectfully with teammates and customers across the world

  • Ability to a dapt communication style depending on the audience

  • Competency with Microsoft Office suite

    Where you may have worked (applicable experience): 

  • Bike shop: sales or service

  • Hospitality

  • Retail

  • Teaching/coaching
