Overview

The position of Administrative Services Coordinator is within the Division of Environmental Health. We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual with strong customer service interpersonal, and administrative skills to join our dedicated and passionate team of professionals, whose mission is to protect Vermonters health.

The candidate must be able to multitask efficiently and have strong computer and technical skills to perform a variety of administrative and operational tasks including, but not limited to, accounts payable and purchasing, records management, human resources support, travel processing, space and equipment management, and special projects.

This position also entails finding solutions to problems, helping to improve processes, and building and maintaining internal tools. The work has quickly shifting priorities and the ideal candidate will have a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude with the ability to juggle multiple demands each day.

Work is performed with considerable independence under the supervision and support of the Administrative Services Manager. A hybrid schedule is available with some weekly in-person days.
