Aerotek Water Transfer Technician in Washington, Pennsylvania
Aerotek is hiring for a Water Transfer Tech, $17-$19/hr with WEEKLY PAY!
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Water Operator to manage and control water transfer systems, both locally and remotely. The ideal candidate will have experience in outdoor or industrial settings, and be comfortable using hand and power tools. This role involves the construction and monitoring of water transfer lines, pumps, and other field equipment, ensuring the efficient operation of water transfer processes.
Responsibilities
Lay and construct 6 and 10 inch poly, yellow mine, and aluminum water transfer lines.
Monitor pumps, tanks, lines, and other field equipment used in the water transfer process.
Use hand and power tools as needed.
Monitor frac tanks to ensure they have sufficient water for the site.
Perform general labor duties related to the water transfer process.
Walk lines in the field to check for leaks.
Essential Skills
6+ months of outdoor or industrial experience.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Valid driver's license.
High school diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in the oil and gas industry or at least 6+ years of related experience in construction, manufacturing, landscaping, etc.
Knowledge of landscape, construction, oil, gas, OSHA regulations, and water transfer processes.
Safeland certification is a plus.

Work Environment
Contractors will be working outdoors in all weather conditions, around well sites. Flexible hours are required, with shifts typically lasting 10-12 hours, and potential for up to 60-80 hours per week. Employees must be open to travel and dedicated to long-term employment. Majority of work is local to the Washington County area. Contractors are required to provide their own steel toe boots within the first week as a preliminary safety requirement.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
