Naval Sea Systems Command SUPVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in Washington Navy Yard, District Of Columbia

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS DIRECTORATE of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will have direct supervisory management responsibility for civilians assigned to his/her division that constitute a major duty occupying at least 25 percent of the position's time. You will establish work assignments to be accomplished by the employees in the program, setting priorities, preparing schedules for work completion, and ensuring the timely performance of satisfactory work efforts. You will determine responsibilities, evaluate employee performance, recommend appropriate incentives, initiate corrective actions, assure safety practices, and keep employees informed of management and personnel policies. You will use a high-level of discernment and judgment to address a wide variety of interrelated subject matter, that can include financial, contractual, programmatic, or other program office focus areas. You will attend high level meetings as a senior authoritative representative of acquisition programs. You will provide a wide range of substantive oral and written presentations and reports to internal and external stakeholders. You will develop and implement overall program requirements based on new or revised legislation. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing a team while preserving the objectives and goals of the Engineering and Planning Department (EEP) to oversee program review, make budget determinations, analyze policy, and improve strategies for the enhancement or optimization of program efficiencies, performance, and compliance.
